September 11, 1990 was a Tuesday. I remember because it was the day I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).
Twenty years ago, WOW!
I rocked it as a bald chick!
Although it was fun to shock people with my bald head I was glad when my hair grew back.
Today I am grateful to be alive, to be a survivor of this disease that takes the lives of so many people, young and old. This year I will raise funds for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society by participating in the
Light the Night Walk.
